This is very... myspace, but okay, sure, why not. Hi! I'm Ver. I'm an old, but I'm also essentially a bunch of trash pandas in a trenchcoat pretending to be an adult. Generally pretty quiet in large online groups unless I feel like I have something to add to the conversation.A warning note up front: I swear, a lot. Obviously I can censor myself when I need to, but in my spaces, or spaces where there aren't any rules about it, I'm not going to do that. If you have any issues with that- that honestly sounds like a you problem and you should deal with that on your own time, not make it MY problem.(I'd say this is a work in progress, but honestly? 🌟Video games- rpg's especially (KH, Suikoden, FF are favorite series), but I have a soft spot for old school platformers a la SMB3 and Kirby. Also terrible dating sims/visual novels. The more ridiculous the better. It's the epitome of "I didn't say it was good, I said I liked it." 😂😂😂
🌟Books! Particularly fantasy, mystery, and historical fiction, but I always end up reading a handful of non-fiction every year, and
🌟Movies/TV! Mostly of the drama variety, tbh. Also a big fan of period dramas. I'd say some all time favorites are Practical Magic, 10 Things I Hate About You, Downton Abbey, Dr. Quinn, among lots and lots of others
🌟Anime! Two all time favorites are Hikaru no Go and Fullmetal Alchemist. Obviously, I tend toward shounen. XD
🌟Podcasts! Though to be fair, I haven't listened to any in a long time, I just haven't had the brain space for them. General favorites are Crime Junkie, Pod Meets World, Criminal, and The Two Princes. I love true crime stuff and podcasts are my favorite way to get that.

On Boundaries
and DNI
I come from a history of emotional abuse. This isn't something I'm always comfortable discussing, especially in detail, and I'm not willing to be pushed on it. I've been no contact with my mother for a while now and my dad's been out of the picture for literally longer than he was in it, by a wide margin. I'm not interested in being told how "they're my parents" and how I "should try harder." Genuinely, don't even talk to me if you want to pull that shit. I may or may not fight you about it if this happens, depending on how I'm feeling that day, but I'm far more likely to just block you. And honestly, the same goes for if you want to genuinely fight about anything on here. I won't put up with that kind of behavior. Think about it this way- I cut my mother off, I can cut your bitch ass off too, don't think I won't.I'm not super comfortable listing any kind of generic DNI list- I don't mind interacting with all kinds of people. As I've already said though, if you're going to ignore any of the "hates" or "boundaries" stuff, yeah, DNI. Also, I don't have a rule about it or anything, but if you're under 18, I'd really rather you didn't. I mostly exist in adult spaces so I'm not super concerned about this happening, but just in case. And for god sakes, tell me you're under 18 if we get into a conversation so I can decide whether I want to continue. I can guarantee there wouldn't be anything intentionally inappropriate going on (ew), but I tend to assume I'm talking to other adults and I speak accordingly, which isn't something I would knowingly do around children. Remember, if your birth year starts with a 2, I'm old enough to be your parent. Hell, I might be as old as or older than your parents. Consider how much that bothers you before you start a conversation, plzthnx.
